Dementia Action week
At Aegys Home Care Services, we understand that dementia affects everyone differently. That’s why we ensure that:
- All staff are trained in understanding and supporting people living with dementia.
- Our care plans and risk assessments reflect the individual needs of each person living with dementia.
In January 2025, we introduced the Forget-Me-Not flower symbol to be included in the folders of clients diagnosed with dementia. This small but meaningful addition helps our staff quickly and respectfully identify individuals who may need additional support.
Our Activities for Dementia Action Week Starting with this communication, we are dedicating this week to strengthening our dementia support efforts.
